Register of Enterprises (UR) — open data

The Latvian companies register’s public bulk data.

What we take

Company master record, insolvency, liquidations, suspensions, securing measures, name history, reorganisations, farm land, and annual financial statements — profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow. It also carries officers, members and beneficial owners, but those are a fallback: ownership is answered from the live record below.

What it is notNot a once-a-night pipeline. Changes are picked up every five minutes from the register’s own change feed and the affected companies are re-read two minutes later. The register publishes some changes later than their own time stamp, so the feed’s last two days are re-checked every 10 minutes and its last 60 days every hour; those checks and the full file at 23:00 make sure nothing is missed — they are not the way data arrives. It is also NOT where we read ownership from — the file has no investment-fund, KS or AIF holdings in it at all; those exist only in the live record below.

What we take

The live legal-entity record — which is where ownership and control are answered from: shareholders, officers, beneficial owners and the prokūra grants, including investment-fund, KS and AIF holdings that appear in no other source. Also beneficial-ownership snapshots, annual-report financials verbatim, the annual-report file inventory, natural-person KYC records, and official documents.

What it is notA live record is re-read whenever the change feed names the company, and whenever someone asks for it. It is not a bulk file, and it does not backfill history that was never held.

What we take

Account inventory, balance snapshots, transaction history, and derived turnover and cash-flow signals.

What it is notAccount information is read under the account holder’s explicit consent and stops when that consent expires. The history is pulled when an account is connected and again when you ask for a resync — it is not a standing daily feed. It is not a credit decision, and it never exists for a company that has not connected its accounts to you.

State Address Register (VZD)

The State Land Service’s register of every building, apartment and place in Latvia, with coordinates.

What we take

The coordinates behind a company’s registered address, joined on the address code the companies register already carries — the point its map pin is placed on. About 95% of active companies resolve to a rooftop, 98% with the place-centroid tier; the remainder falls back to a geocoder.

What it is notA coordinate is where the registered address is, not where the business operates — a company registered at its accountant’s office is pinned there. It is not a property, ownership or land record.

Procurement Monitoring Bureau (IUB)

What we take

Every contract awarded since 2013: buyer, winners, subject and CPV category, value, award date and number of offers.

What it is notAn award is not proof of delivery or payment, and later changes to a contract are not reflected. Private individuals who win contracts are never named.
